Swollen?…Asparagus & Exercise!

Swelling; another perk of pregnancy! I was so scared my ankles and feet would never go back to wearing cute sandals or open-toed anything, but thankfully everything returned to it’s original place …with time.  I wish I had some monumental advice for all pregnancy symptoms.  All I can say is that there is light at the end of the tunnel and luckily pregnancy doesn’t last forever and the reward of having your baby is worth it all!

The advice I got from various sources regarding reducing swelling basically boiled down to :

1.  Eat a well balanced diet, especially food with A,C & E (“ace”) vitamins

2.  Excercise and stretching.  I loved prenatal yoga classes!
